HP dv9335NR

Can anyone please explain what the letters at the end of Hewlett Packard laptop series numbers mean?
I am looking at the HP dv9335NR (anyone own one...if so, how is it?). What does the NR mean? I have also seen T or US at the end of some HP series numbers. No one can seem to explain this to me. Thanks for any info. on the meanings and/or if a dv9335NR is a good choice!

You should either contact HP directly, or inquire at a computer store that sell 'em.

The T and the Z stood for the Intel or AMD model. Yes HP is the top seller and gives great bang for the buck. A good review on my source link. I own a V2403NR. Think it has to do with the components installed.

The NR letters are typically used to denote a setup found at Best Buy. Models may be slightly different from other stores models or the same. CompUSA usually uses US on the same model number. It is so the stores can claim exclusive / special models as well as not having to price match different stores.

Take it to a shop. Power supplies cost about $50 and up. It's easy for them to tell you is the PSU is dead or not.

Hewlett packard model m8034n

Will a Hewlett packard model m8034n receive a wireless signal?
I was told it did NOT need a router since it was wireless. but does that only mean wireless mouse & keyboard or does that mean wireless like a laptop? Do I need a wireless adapter? I have a router LINKSYS-"G" but it will not rout anything to my HP. Any help???? thanks ya'll.

I'm assuming it more than likely doesn't. If the computer is more than 1.5 to 2 years old it doesn't. If you want to run a wireless signal to it, you can buy a wireless card or usb adapter to install in it. Then you can receive a wireless signal. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=wireless+cards&x=0&y=0 Cards are faster than usb adapters, but if you don't want to open your computer to install it, go with the wireless usb adapter. But if you don't need to go wireless, stay connect with a cable to your modem. Its much faster, and safer.
