Yes, you can use virtually any printer with Vista. Plug the printer into your computer and turn it on. Vista should detect a new device and attempt to install it. If it cannot find the appropriate driver on its own, go to HP.com and download the most recent driver. Install. Should be good to go. Otherwise, spend $50 on a new all-in-one.

Its not a physical device, Its a software program located in your control panel and sense i dont know what your operating system is. You can find it. Most likely it will be under POWER OPTIONS.

Depending on what operating system you are using. Control panel click power options and adjust sleep / hibernate mode(s). System management, power options. Would suggest you download the user guide for your lap top by model number from HP support. http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

Having their so called "technical support" outsourced to a foreign country. If HP is an American company, the SHOULD KEEP THE JOBS WHERE THEY BELONG AND ARE NEEDED THE MOST, WHICH IS HERE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Buy AMERICAN, people.................DONT' BUY CHINESE/TAIWANESE JUNK/CRAP!! Christopher K.

I am not sure what you are talking about Sorry.

I haven't heard of any problems with HP. However, I have heard of Compaq, which is currently owned by HP, having problems. My brother-in-law had a Compaq that crashed. PCs are like blind people, when behind the steering wheel of a car--they consistantly crash! Of course, if I had to use a PC, I'd get an HP. Other than that, I'd only get a Mac.
