What is the font used in Hewlett Packard ads?

What is the font used in Hewlett Packard ads and on the cover of a Jonathan Safran Foer book?
Does anyone have a clue what font was used on the cover of "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer? It was also used in many ads for Hewlett Packard (in way too similar way to J.S.F.'s book cover). Please help a girl out if you can. Thank you.

Hi! I don't know which Hewlett-Packard ads you mean, but the book cover was hand drawn by a designer named Jon Gray. Which ads are you referring to? Here's an interview with Gray and some of his other covers... he's terrific! http://covers.fwis.com/everything_is_illuminated *****EDIT: I think you mean these: http://www.hp.com/personalagain/us/en/index.html?product=vrcp I couldn't find the exact one (there are so many.. you can search through 'comic' caegories for more) but these are similar. Oh.. the writing on the 'hand' has been enhanced by drawing if you look at repeating letters as their size and character varies (the 'u,' the 'r,' etc). http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/Fontdinerdotcom_Loungy.htm http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/scriptorium/candlemas/ http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/Cat_Krap!.htm http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/imageclub/whimsy/ Hope this helped!

Hewlett Packard Digital Camera

How can I fix the battery door on my Hewlett Packard digital camera?
I have a Hewlett Packard Photosmart hp 315 digital camera, and the trap door for the batteries is broken. The catch that would keep the door shut seems chipped off, so i have to keep the door shut with my thumb, or the batteries come spilling out. Is there a way to fix this? Howe much will repairs cost me? The camera itself works fine, just the battery door is busted..

see if you can buy the battery door part separately. if not then I would suggest some gaffer tape. and just tape it shut.

The discs should be enough, there should be a sticker on your case that should have all the authentication codes you would need.
2 :
just the discs and the key should be on a sticker on the back. choose NTFS when asked. FAT32 is outdated and slow. good luck with your 1st reformat!
3 :
no you dont need no code all you do is put the disc in the computer and restart it once you do that you should see in your screen press any key to booto from cd and thats all the recovery disc is going to give you instructions in how to do it if you have any more questions you can visit there website and chat to one of there agents for free just look for contact hp in the left side of the page and youll be chating to the hp agent who im sure can help you with this question and any other that you might have heres the link www.hp.com/support i hope this was helpful feel free to write me at changito_tuyo@yahoo.com Good luck ADIOS

Those rubber coaster things? Good luck finding a replacement.. try ebay? I've never heard anyone lose one of those rubber things before

Then you will have to improvise. You will have to find something to substitute.

Yeah, same thing happens to me. Damn adhesive.... they put it right next to the burning hot batter compartment. and they just melt off. I found them on e-bay, and my friend goes into comp-USA and peals them off the display models. Good Luck!

You are right, you can not purchase the little feet for the bottom of the laptop from any laptop manufacturer. I have had several clients with this same issue. The way I have resolved it is to go to a hardware store. In the Isle where they have cabinet parts they have silicone bumpers in various sizes that go inside cabinet doors. The Silicone is strong and it has an adhesive backing on it. There are different shapes and sizes so take your laptop along (or at least one of the feet. Match it to one of the Silicone bumpers. Take all of the feet off the laptop. I usually use a very small drop of thin superglue in the center. Use it very sparingly! then press the bumper in where the feet are. The adhesive on the back holds it in place while the super glue dries. This works well and I've never had any complaints. Good Luck
