Hewlett Packard DM3 is it any good?
I want to buy a Hewlett Packard DM3.. WHO HAS ONE? IS IS A GOOD ONE? HELP PLEASE!!!!

i have had nothing but problems with all of my hp's. get a sony vaio, dell, or toshiba

I'm assuming you mean the basic dm3 model. Overall it's a pretty good laptop(about a 7 out of 10 stars on my scale). The battery life for it is tremendous, about 7+ hours of continuous video playback. It has 2 gigs of ram, a 500 GB hard-drive, and an Intel core 2 1.3GHz processor so it should handle nicely with minimal lag time. One downside is that the basic model does not come with an optical drive so if that will be an issue you might have to look to the sometimes pricey upgraded versions. The other downside is that the touch pad isn't the most comfortable thing to use, though a $10 wireless mouse solves that problem. Over-all it is a beautiful looking laptop, nicely thin and light (only about 4.1 lbs). I cannot say if I recommend it though because I don't know what your specific computing needs are.
