I need the program to run my Scanner [Hewlett Packard Scanjet 32000c] Is there a download anywhere? If so; I need it to be virus free and safe :| Help?

you do it with the windows installment dvd.....and please dont say what dvd..boot it up and press F2

What should I do with a 10 yr old Hewlett Packard Pavilion XL775 PC that was never used?
My father received it back in 2000 when Ford Motor Company was giving computers away to the employees. Once he got it he left it in the box, and threw it into a corner in the basement and forgot about it. # Maximum Memory: 768MB # Slots: 3 (3 banks of 1) # Standard Memory: 128MB removable # USB Support: 1.x Compliant

Why don't you donate it to a local school? Call them and see if they want it and if not, donate it to a Good Will or Salvation Army type organization.

Donate it to an orphanage to make some kid happy ...

Hewlett Packard Compaq Presario SR2013WM?
Need to order a hard drive for a Hewlett Packard Compaq Presario SR2013WM?
My friends PC crashed and they need a hard drive. He ask me to order one off from Ebay. That is the type of desk top it is and he said a SCSI but when I look it doesn't seem that easy, like some say 50 pin some 80..How can I find out the exact hard drive it has or can anyone just tell me please. I know its a 160gb..Help please!

It uses SATA hard drives. Don't go to ebay go here they are just as cheap or cheaper. What is a Hewlett Packard N5135 laptop worth?
May buy one used, can't find much info on it online. Except seller gives this info: Celeron (I think 700 mhz.) processor w/ 256 meg ram & a 5 Gigibyte hard drive. Any opinions on its value? He said he needs more storage capacity thats why he's selling. Thanks in advance for any help.

That laptop is about 15 years old. It's worth less then $5 US. In modern terms, a laptop that old isn't sellable. Your seller is trying to scam you.

Turn on the computer. # Press the F8 key repeatedly when the first screen appears. # From the Windows Advanced Options Menu, select Safe Mode and press ENTER there u should be able to select a secret adminstrive account good look UPDATE FIRST ANSWER WAS RUSHED: Windows XP includes a hidden Administrator account that can be used for problems with other accounts. You can access it by restarting the computer into safe mode. First, restart the computer. As it starts, keep pressed the F8 key (some computers instead require the Delete or Esc key). Instead of the familiar Windows screen, you'll see a text-only Advanced Options Menu. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode. Then press Enter.Select the Administrator account. By default on most computers, it requires no password. Once logged in, you can change the password of the account you normally use.To make the change, click Start,Run. In the box, type - control userpasswords2 - and click OK. Select your normal account name in the list. Click the Reset Password button. You'll be prompted for a new password. You can restart the computer and use the new password on your normal account. If you're completely locked out of your computer, you'll need programs like Login Recovery, FastCrack, NT Password and Registry Editor. Each one is free. They make use of boot disks that you can download to a floppy or burn to CD. Run one of them and follow the instructions. Once you've got access to your computer, set a new password through Windows. Yeah External caddy take hdd out and put in it... Or download UBCD (Ultimate Boot CD) I think there is a tool in there you can use but I think it can be risky
