I have a brand new Hewlett Packard computer, how do I tell how good my graphics card is?
A friend of mine showed me a long time ago, but I forgot. He had me go somewhere in my computer, and it showed a certain number. Can anybody enlighten me? By the way, I meant that he showed me on my old Hewlett Packard, but Iost touch with him, and don't know how to see what I got on this new one.

on windows 7 right click my computer scroll to rating and click windows experience index.

Google could probably tell you. I would guess it is under the system properties in the control panel. This is only if you have Windows XP.

Press the windows button + R on the keyboard. the run command box should open. type "dxdiag" in this and press enter. A dialog box should open. Go to the display tab. it will have all the info you need.

I'm buying a lens from ebay and in the description it says "Hewlett Packard" but in the title it says "canon" is there a difference?

Where can i get a battery for a hewlett packard pavillion dv600?
My battery only lasts about 10 minutes w/out the charger. Any where that sells them would be great. Please reccomend where they are good quality. Thanks!

u can surly get new batteries from best buy but they will not be cheap so i suggest going to ebay once u know the model number of it

I would suggestly recommend EBAY but at the same time please exercise PATIENCE and then only buy a geniune HP battery that has the matching HP part number (Note some batteries and HP part numbers might be interchangeable among various HP Notebook PCs by this info is only found by careful research & analysis) Also some Lessons Learned on my 1st Notebook PC (Gateway Pentium IV) which I had rarely used on battery power later went dead and was NOT ABLE to hold a charge. For some unexplained reason, my wife's Dell Latitude D600 during the same time never had a battery problem, I don't know why? What I can also tell you is the parts for some Notebook PC manufacturers are in short supply and finding a reasonable cost Notebook PC battery replacement for some Notebook PCs other than Dell and maybe HP are not easy to find so you might end up paying more than you wanted to. Along the same lines I once bought a so-called compatible/generic notebook battery (actually sold at TIGER DIRECT and manufactured in China) and I would strongly suggest you ONLY purchase an authentic genuine HP Notebook PC battery with your PC manufacturer's logo, otherwise you may experience incompatibility problems buying generic or supposely compatible batteries. If you buy on-line, always ask for guaranteed compatibility and their return/refund procedures IN ADVANCE like I did, so I immediately contacted the Seller and provided SCREENSHOTS of no (zero% charging), had to pay the return postage to recover most of my costs, then ended up buying an original genuine battery and it worked! The real compatibility tests is reflected in the CONTROL PANEL under POWER OPTIONS, then cIick on POWER METER and you will see a battery with the charging percentage %. If the battery is dead or incompatible then this power meter will sadly reflect zero (0%). By the way, after I paid and got my new genuine Notebook Battery, then I kept the original dead battery on the PC battery compartment to prevent dust etc and kept the brand new one outside occasionally testing & re charging my brand new one. FYI now I only own 3 Dell Notebook PCs, Latitude D800 which came with 2 nine cell batterries, but my 2 newest Latitude D620 and Inspiron E1505/6400 only have their one original -- and I don't remove it bec it's not worth the possibility of dust or whatever getting into the system...and would only do so, if I had an old dead one or bought a 2nd new one, then I might establish a rotation plan. Not only did she turn HP employees and investors against each other, but left the company massively in debt and too big to succeed. And how about her success as John McCain's top economic adviser? We know how that turned out. If she were elected California senator would it prove anything other than the fact that personal wealth can buy an election?

Who would i email at Hewlett Packard because of Laptop problems?
I have an HP TouchSmart tx2 laptop and for some reason it will go into these fits where the screen acts like its gettin touched when its not. This tends to make the screen blink, zoom in and out of web pages, and open new internet tabs. Need Help on how to fix it. Either who to Email at HP or how to correct this problem.

how do you get a hewlett packard sd410c photo drive to work on windows xp?

How much is a 1997 Hewlett Packard Pavilion computer worth now?
I want to sell mine but I don't know how much to sell it for. I can't find a price anywhere online either. Please someone let me know! Thank you!

the salvation army would say $1,000 hardware and software try looking at ebay they might have some auctions going

You probably won't find a price on that because that kind of PC is totally out of date. It's probably worth like... $70-$100

$50 maybe. It's a crap now. However, if you keep it for another 20 years, it may appreciate as an antique.

You'd probably end up paying more to recycle it than you would get by selling it. Sorry but PC's depreciate very quickly.

An 11 year old computer is not hugely valuable because there have been years and years of advancements in computers, and at this point, you can buy a brand new computer for a lot less than that HP cost back in '97. I hesitate to put a dollar figure on it because I think you might find it insulting. Let's just say that the right buyer will pay what they think it's worth.

This computer is 11 years old - ancient in today's world. If someone wants a paper weight or curiosity piece - I would imagine that you could get 25 -50 dollars for it.

The only thing in it maybe worth something would be your memory sticks. You could donate it to a senior center or some not-for-profit agency that is teaching typing skills to the underprivileged people so they can get a job.
